When Jeremy Hageness gets out of the office, he goes off the grid. “The only thing I run into is miles of wilderness, lots of wildlife…and then there’s those grizzlies,” he says. As scary as that sounds, that’s just the way the hunter and outdoorsman from the wilds of Libby, Mont., likes it.
“I couldn’t be in a better place,” he says. “The wilderness here is endless and when you’re out there, it takes you to another place and time.”
Hageness and his brother, Jason, oversee 21 IC Bus dealer locations throughout the Great Plains and Northwest. “I put about 60,000 miles a year on my pickup visiting customers from Canada to Montana.” But as accessible as he is when he works, come the weekend Hageness heads to the woods for some adventure. “We’ll go about 18 miles into untouched areas,” he says. “That’s my time to get away.”
