For now, we are focused on the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on the school bus industry. We welcomed on Kris Hafezizadeh – Executive Director of Transportation and Vehicle Services for Austin ISD in Austin, TX. Kris discusses what his district is doing to outfit of its buses with wi-fi and to park buses in various areas around the community to create hotspots for students that may not otherwise be able to access it. Kris also discusses many of the other initiatives that Austin ISD and the rest of the industry is doing to assist students as school remains out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
